In light of the ongoing surge in Cholera cases, Education Minister Douglas Syakalima has made the decision to extend the closure of all schools for a period of three weeks.

According to Mr. Syakalima, the duration of the school holidays for term one will be limited to just one week.
Mr. Syakalima highlighted during a press briefing that the commencement of the academic year would take place exclusively on Monday, January 29, 2024, emphasizing the specific date for the reopening of schools.
