Namibia’s third President, Hage Geingob, has sadly passed away. The news was shared by Vice-President Nangolo Mbumba, who revealed that Geingob died at Lady Pohamba Hospital while undergoing cancer treatment. He was 82 years old. Acting as Head of State, Mbumba mentioned that Geingob’s wife, Madame Monica Geingos, and their children were by his side during his final moments.
