Official Launch of 1 by 3 Classroom Block at Katondo Primary School

The construction of a 1 by 3 Classroom block at Katondo Primary school in Munkulungwe ward of Bwana Mkubwa Constituency in Ndola has been officially launched today. This significant milestone marks the beginning of a project that will provide much-needed educational infrastructure to the local community. The new classroom block will accommodate a larger number of students, creating a conducive learning environment and ensuring that every child has access to quality education. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to improving education and investing in the future of our children.

Hasamac Investment LTD is currently in the process of constructing the classroom block, which is estimated to cost approximately K1.2 Million. This project is being funded through the 2022 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) allocation.

The anticipated timeline for the project’s completion is set at a duration of 3 months.

The government’s unprecedented decision to raise the CDF from K1.6 million to K30.6 million has had a profound impact on Bwana Mkubwa Constituency. We are immensely thankful for this substantial increase, as it has allowed our constituency to flourish as a vibrant construction hub. We are fully aware of the transformative power of CDF, recognizing it as a game changer that has significantly contributed to the overall development of our nation.

At the official inauguration event, we emphasized the importance of the contractor hiring local individuals, particularly the youth, and ensuring that the project is finished within the designated timeframe, aligning with the directives of President Hakainde Hichilema.

Additionally, we earnestly requested the inhabitants to diligently protect the establishment once it is finished, ensuring that children can acquire knowledge in an optimal and favorable setting.
